Outside Service Attendant, Fairview Mountain Golf Club

Outside Service Attendant - a critical function that keeps energy high, provides proactive (rather than reactive) customer service that anticipates needs, enthusiastically greets and entertains guests and informs them about their golfing experience from start to finish. Working alongside the Golf Shop Staff, outside service act as ambassadors for Fairview Mountain, and are the first and last encounter that members and guests have with the club.

Responsibilities and Accountability

• Greet both members and guests in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Personalize the guest experience by greeting all guests at the bag drop and assisting guests with any reasonable request.
• Setting up the practice facility and cart staging area each day.
• Ensure that keeping the staging area, practice facility tee, and cart storage area clean and orderly.
• Ensure cleanliness of golf carts by thoroughly spraying batteries, body and interior. Dry body with a towel, restock cart supplies, park carts safely and plug in to a charger.
• Ensure that you have a professional appearance, including wearing an issued staff uniform.

Position Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to lift buckets that are up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Works well in a team atmosphere, gets along with co-workers easily.
• Previous experience in customer service is an asset.

Compensation: $17.80-$18.50 per hour depending on experience, plus additional incentives, golf privileges, meal benefits and more.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
