    Miradoro @ Tinhorn Creek Winery is hiring a sous chef to join our culinary team for the upcoming season.

    Miradoro is an award winning, world class winery restaurant that is one of the culinary gems of the South Okanagan. We offer a professional, dynamic work environment with plenty of opportunity to learn and expand your experience. Our kitchen focuses on using the best ingredients of the Okanagan and utilizing the best of modern and traditional techniques.

    Candidates should have extensive kitchen experience and have food safe level one. Red seal is an asset, but not a requirement. A strong grasp of current culinary techniques is also an asset. You should also have a good understanding of people management, ordering, scheduling & sanitation. Most importantly, you should be driven to succeed and passionate about food.

    Responsibilities

    • Help oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service.
    • Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
    • Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality standards.
    • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
    • Provide exceptional service to guests and handle any customer inquiries or concerns.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
